Escaping the Rat Race

callings lifestyle Aug 25, 2016

Most people remain stuck in mediocrity because they ask the wrong questions. Instead of following their inner Voice to discover inspired truths that dismantle conventions, they blindly believe in those old looping shadow voices from the past and get stuck in the rat race forever. Thinking this way, we see life as a perpetual series of survival dilemmas to which we must adapt by compromising our deepest passions.

To change the game, we must suspend belief in our habitual thinking. If we don’t, we stay frame locked, asking the same “have you stopped beating your wife yet?” questions of life over and over again, vainly hoping that things will get better.

The Questions We Ask:

Why can’t I find work that brings me money and meaning?

Should we focus on quality or profitability?

When can I retire so that I can do what I love?

Why does this always happen to me?

These aren’t really questions--they are limiting beliefs with question marks added. They frame reality as an irresolvable dilemma in which inspired “both/and” solutions remain forever out of reach. Here’s what the four questions above implicitly declare to be true:

The Beliefs We Imply:

I must compromise my heart’s truth make money.

Quality and success are polar opposites

Enslavement now creates future freedom.

I am a powerless victim of circumstance.

When we choose the wrong inner guidance, we end up arguing for our own limitations as if our lives depended upon it. Everything we see and every choice we make brings us new evidence that we must compromise our heart’s knowing in order to survive. Our lives become a self-fulfilling prophecy of lack from which we desperately yearn to escape, imagining some rose colored future of blissful freedom that never comes. There’s only one-way to get out of this confusing maze: remove the rats from our minds. These rodents are nothing more than unchallenged beliefs from the past, but they keep us forever limited when we fail to question them.

We can claim our stake to freedom whenever we want by choosing again. When we get tired of the treadmill we can choose "none of the above" and stand for our inner Voice authority. This powerful choice changes everything, moving us to ask new, more honest questions that bring gifts beyond our wildest dreams when shadows rule.

Objective non-judgmental awareness in a spirit of inquiry to uncover simple truth—this is the mighty mental weapon that helps us dissolve limitations to reclaim the unbridled freedom that is our natural inheritance.

Society dares your brain to discover a dangerous truth that your heart has always known: You are a force of nature with no limits whatsoever. To unleash your unique genius, follow your instinctual curiosity until your brain and heart become radically aligned partners in the the pursuit of your passions. This is how all game changing visionaries in history achieved the impossible. Using the new Voice Code map, anyone willing to shift thinking can now join them. The only barrier is belief.
