Want to know how Steve Jobs almost single handedly revolutionized three separate industries bucking all conventional wisdom? Or how Richard Branson turned Virgin into a sprawling global empire without even knowing basic MBA level business jargon? Or how that fresh-faced senator Barack Obama toppled the Clinton Empire? Or how those underdogs from Google gave big dog Yahoo their walking papers and changed the world forever? In all cases the answer is the same:
They embraced paradox to discover and embrace the wisdom of their inner Voice Authority over the voice of conventional authorities in their fields.
Through the Voice Code lens, our minds are holographic reality generators. Every part is reflected within every other and all grow organically out of the whole through the paradoxical portal of the present moment. The “immovable spot” I call “Voice” emerges only when we release false knowing and open our minds to our hearts. When we choose our Voice, we choose to embrace our inner Authority. The more we choose it, the less we believe in our ego and the more we come to embrace our true potential now.
The paradox at the core of all human experience is that we are both unlimited Voice beings and ordinary human beings at the same time. In Phase I (worldview stages 1 through 6), we become frame locked into an "either/or" mindset that makes paradox seem like nonsense. In Phase II (stages 7-12), we stand for "and" as we transmute the Phase I nonsense that keeps us split-minded. In simple terms, here’s the Voice Code equation translated into ordinary language:
“Life is a paradox, wrapped up in a dilemma, masquerading as an endless series of unsatisfying “either/or” choices.”
This is the “big secret” that game changing visionaries embrace to own their true creative authority. To Phase I thinkers this may seem deeply nihilistic. But once we choose our Voice, these same words strike that chord of joyful irony that breaks the frame and reminds us of the timeless truth: we are a force of nature.
The secret is following the correct inner guide. To follow our Voice we must suspend belief in that habitual noise in our heads most of us call “thinking.” Our Voice is a ever present, joyful knowing that arises from the core of our being. We access it by releasing our attachment to the past as pass through the paradoxical portal of unknowing to fully embrace the fierce urgency of now. From this state, we experience inner and outer as mirror reflections of the same underlying process.
As you align with your inner Voice authority in your everyday life you will embody a Phase II mindset called “paradoxical pragmatism” that enables you to topple longstanding conventions as you dissolve frame lock and CREATE the future offering your gifts.
